Graduation live stream
I have been tasked with a partner to help create and mediate the live stream of a graduation.

This is the day where we set up the location with the equipment. Camera on tripods were set and the equipment for the live steam was getting ready. However, the other project manager was late and only arrived after two hours, so I had managed the place by myself. We had some runners who I divided to set up the cameras and tripods and one of the wires wasn’t one the list, so I had to drive back to the other college to pick up the right wire. Twice. As we needed a different lens for a camera. After the positions are set, We removed the tripods and cameras but marked where they were.

I feel like I should've done more as I was gone to grab items from the old college as I was the director of the place and I could've gotten some experience managing runners and different task. Bye the time I arrived on my second trip. A good part of the setting up is done.

One the day, we arrived two hours early to set up the cameras and tripods to their dedicated marked places. We only have two runners on site, so we split them into one manning camera 3 and the other to be the one to fix any of the problems of the stationary cameras. We had some problems with each person's height as we based it on tall people but sometimes the graduates have too much head room or less head room than normal. The runner on camera three must improvise the camera placement to fit on every student. One the first Part, it was a rough on the opening as someone was blocking the camera which means we had to use a different camera to focus on the speaker. but it went well further on as everyone was seated. One the second part, I was manning the livestream and I feel like it’s the best it did took a bit to get used to the controls but once I have gotten used to the layout, it was the most consistent in terms of quality. On the third part of the graduation, one of the runners must go and I had to man camera three which was harder than normal as I feel like there's more tall people therefore, I had to move the camera more than usual. The accommodations of the food for the people did cause some confusion and we were told to only eat the first one after eating or lining up for the second grades buffet.

I feel like there's some miscommunication. There's miscommunication on when to officially start the stream as we were told to leading to late starts of the steam. If we were to do that again, we need to talk to the person on the podium to get what is their opening line on when are they starting. Some shots could be positioned higher to stop people from blocking it. And there's some miscommunication on the food accommodations as there was some drama of the camera crew not being able to take some food if they want to get some on the later parts of the graduation.
